Are you suddenly looking for ways to bring traditional Mother’s Day treats and Easter feasts closer to home this year? Forman & Field have a luxurious solution.
With restaurants and cafes having to close their doors, and most of us hunkering down, these Spring celebrations are certainly taking on a different perspective. So, if you can’t go out for a sumptuous family meal, can you get it delivered?
Of course. And if you can run to a little (well, a lot of) luxury, you might splash out on a decadent hamper.
Well-established British artisans, Forman & Field, are showcasing their gourmet gifts and seasonal spreads, for Mother’s Day (you’re still just in time to order!) and Easter.
For Mother’s Day there are a selection of bespoke hampers, from The Breakfast in Bed Hamper to The Afternoon G&T Hamper and Smoke & Bubbles box.
The Breakfast in Bed Hamper has the essentials of a tasty brunch: Brick Lane bagels, lemon and herb cream cheese, Forman’s Grade One Smoked Salmon, luxury macaroons, artisan coffee, and Balfour Leslie Reserve sparkling wine.
And The Afternoon G&T Hamper combines sweet treats with a gin twist: a trio of mini cakes, fresh scones, strawberry jam, a box of macaroons, artisan salted caramel dark chocolates, and Mother’s Ruin Damson Gin.
As for Easter, Forman & Field has unveiled some new products to get all foodies egg-cited (groan!) There’s a Chocolate Scotch Egg, Easter Rarebit, and an Easter Basket, which includes these and some fine cheeses, crackers, salmon, and chocolates, too.
Providing charcuterie, cheeses, and chocolate is a ‘new’ venture, because since 1905, Forman & Field have probably best been known for their smoked salmon. The Scottish salmon travels from loch to Hackney smokehouse within 48 hours of being caught, where approximately three tonnes is cured every day, using only oak smoke and salt. H. Forman & Son is now the last of the original London salmon smokehouses, and the world’s oldest smoked salmon producer.
Food gifts and hampers start at £14.50, with the Mother’s Day Hampers between £50-70.
(And if one just happened to make its way to this mother…hint hint…smug pictures and a review would swiftly follow!)
Items are all made to order, with produce from leading farmers and artisan producers across the country, and orders are packed by hand in specialist protective packaging and sent via overnight couriers
