“Approaching the Five Sisters Zoo was amazing – out of the darkness, the night sky was then lit up with the Zoo illuminations ahead”.
The Christmas and animal themed light displays set off other stage effects, such as The Nutcrackers and the giant Candy Canes.
It was lovely to experience the zoo at night. We were lucky to see lots of animals including a lioness, red panda, monkeys, parrots and the Great Grey Owl.
There are plenty of foodie places, including toast your own marshmallow stick, and a heated bar, not to mention the children’s rides and swing park.
The highlight of my evening was watching the smiling happy faces of all the children going around the Five Sisters Zoo.
The 2023 Christmas lights experience is truly a magical experience.
