In this season of goodwill, and as 2015 becomes 2016, I’d like to take the opportunity to send best wishes to everyone involved in Lothian Life. Thank you all – readers and contributors alike – for all your interest and support over the year.
Twelve months ago, I was clinging to former editor, Suse Coon, wondering how I would ever cope on my own (she was probably thinking exactly the same thing) and do justice to her ‘legacy’. Now, I still have a long way to go, but I’m delighted to say that Lothian Life is thriving.
The thanks really is due to all of you reading this: the generous and talented contributors and reviewers – from the old-hands to the new recruits – to  interested and enthusiastic readers and commentators, and to those who have offered the much-needed technological advice.
It’s been a pleasure and a privilege to take on Lothian Life, and I hope the magazine will go from strength to strength as I learn more and more about this mysterious world of social media! (Getting pictures/photographs right and working out Twitter will be very high on the priority list…)
With very best wishes to all of you, wherever, however and whatever you celebrate this Hogmanay – and may 2016 bring you happiness and health.
