DRU Fires has announced new models to its growing range of mid-priced, Global contemporary gas fires.
Global Beau is a classic, freestanding gas stove with a conventional flue, which is designed to connect to a Class 1 chimney or be installed into an inglenook chimney. It is available in black (above left) or ivory finish with Ceraglass interior, has a realistic log fire display and runs on natural gas or LPG. With a heat output of 3.3 kW it can heat an average sized living room, has 76% energy efficiency and remote control operation.
The Global 60i is a classic rectangular gas fire with log or stone fire beds and a smooth black interior. It has a conventional flue for attachment to Class 1 UK chimneys and is available in two versions:
‘Solid’ (below left) has a double thickness visible frame, whilst ‘Trend’ (below right) has a single thickness frame with screen printed glass for a frameless effect. Each version can be recessed into the wall or raised to hang on a wall. The fire has a generous heat output of 4.7 kW and is operated by electronic remote control. There are natural gas and LPG versions and it also has an energy efficiency rating of 76%.
The DRU Global range, which starts at £1195.00 RRP, has been designed to be affordable for all households. There are now eleven different variations, including balanced and conventional flue models, inset fires, hole-in-the-wall fires, freestanding stoves, 2-sided corner and 3-sided panoramic models.
Selected Global balanced flue fires have the added benefit of a 90 degree rear vent through an outside facing wall, rather than a minimum one metre raised flue. This makes them easier and cheaper to install.
