With the help of their old friend the Macarthur, who lives inside Arthur’s Seat, and a friend of their aunt, who is good at crosswords, they must first find the talisman then stop it from falling into the wrong hands.
It’s hard to find a children’s book these days which doesn’t involve magic or vampires, but fans of the first four books will still be delighted with this latest book for 8-12 year olds from the popular Edinburgh author, as they learn that no one is all bad or all good.

After some time out to bring up her family of three, she returned to what had been a hobby and entered the field of freelance journalism. In 1999, Suse bought over CompassSport and found her time taken up pretty well exclusively with the two magazines. In 2004, West Lothian Life was expanded to form Lothian Life, however, the workload was too great. In 2006, CompassSport was sold and Suse concentrated on the web version of Lothian Life.
