Join the girls for new DIVA100 Scotland ride

Children’s charity Action Medical Research is looking for ladies to sign up for its new DIVA100 Scotland bike ride on Sunday 20 May. The ride sets out from Kincardine and takes in the quiet country lanes of the Kingdom of Fife, with a choice of two circular routes – a 100km challenge or a shorter 50km course for those looking to take it a little bit easier.

Edinburgh Parks are made of Gold

While residents have been aware of the quality of Edinburgh’s parks and greenspaces for a long time, COSLA (Convention of Scottish Local Authorities) has now recognised the city’s efforts with a gold award. At a ceremony in St Andrews, the City of Edinburgh Council’s Parks and Greenspace service was chosen from a shortlist of three other local authorities.

Big Green Bike Ride, Edinburgh to London

Friends of the Earth have organised a fun bike ride from London to Edinburgh to raise funds for the fantastic work they do. The ride will take 6 days and you can join for the whole trip or just a day. Lothian Life readers will probably prefer to opt for the last day, May 11th, which takes you from Alnwick to Edinburgh.
