The Emergency Services respond to operational incidents on a daily basis and provide information to the public via their own individual websites. This new web site www.lbalert.info is designed for use during larger scale incidents when the emergency services and other public organisations are providing a joint response and there is a need to provide a single source of information to the public.

The Edinburgh Ski Touring Cub (formerly Edinburgh Nordic Ski Club) is celebrating its 25th anniversary on 7th October with a dinner and ceilidh dance and would like to see as many members as possible on the night. Unfortunately, we have lost contact with many of our former members, so would like to ask anyone who sees this, to get in touch.
