From little Acorns, a new Bereavement Programme Comes

Edinburgh families are the first in Scotland to benefit from a unique bereavement support programme launched in April.   Open to anyone experiencing bereavement, Acorns is free and offers practical help and group support over a six-week programme.

Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of International Women’s Day

For the 100th Anniversary of International Women’s Day, White Ribbon Alliance (WRA) members all over the world are holding dinner parties on or around 8th March to advocate for maternal and newborn health. To show your support for the WRA by raising funds and taking part in this global initiative, we invite you to host your own dinner party for friends or colleagues.

The white ribbon is dedicated to the memory of all women who have died needlessly in pregnancy and childbirth – we ask that dinner party guests wear white in honour of our cause.
