Take Three at Dundas St.Gallery
Dundas Street Gallery
Take Three exhibition
Maureen Doyle, Joan Linton, Madeleine Lussi
After a successful show in 2006 , the three graduates from Dundeeās Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art return with another show.
Maureen Doyle takes inspiration from the symbols and images of Turkish design, and uses these in her take on Scottish landscapes and the surroundings of Edinburgh.
Joan Linton has a recurring theme of antique lace and fabric in her incredibly detailed and crafted paintings.
Madeleine Lussi is based in Spain, and takes her inspiration from the surrounding countryside and her cat Sylvester. Colour is her passion, and there is a lush Mediterranean feel to her landscapes and still life paintings.
Exhibition from 6th-14th September.
